How to Create a Morning Routine

Give Yourself Some Time

The key to creating an effective morning routine is to give yourself enough time between waking up and doing whatever it is you have to do for the day. Whether it be going to work, school, dropping your kids off for school or volunteering, make sure you have some time to yourself before diving into your responsibilities for the day.

Limit Screen Time

Screen time is a major distraction from the rest of your day. Eat a Nutritious Breakfast

If it’s tough to find the time to cook breakfast in the morning, try prepping something the night before – this way, breakfast will be ready right when you wake up and you won’t have to waste any time thinking about what to eat.

Move Your Body

Introducing movement into your morning routine can raise endorphins and boost your mood. If you have a little extra time, squeeze your workout in first thing in the morning. With your workout out of the way, you won’t have to worry about making it to the gym after work.
