Park City Winter Activities: Off the Slope

January 21, 2022

Park City, Utah is a ski and snowboard paradise, home to multiple world-class resorts and slopes. Deer Valley Resort was voted #1 ski resort in America for 2021 by Condé Nast Traveler, and Park City Mountain holds the crown for the largest ski resort in the country. But what if you don’t ski or snowboard? Have no fear – winter’s favorite city is full of fun things to do off the slopes too.

Park City Utah Winter Mountain

Snow Tubing

Enjoy fun in the snow without strapping on the ski boots – go snowtubing! Enjoy the longest groomed tubing lanes in Utah at Woodward Park City. This classic Park City winter tradition has now become easier with recent upgrades like the addition of a new magic carpet and an increased number of lanes.

Paint in PC

The Paint Mixer is Park City’s premier paint and sip service. This studio provides in-person and virtual classes or brings the creative experience to you with their “Van Go Mobile”. The Paint Mixer is perfect for events, romantic date nights or just fun outings with friends. Check out their schedule here. Not a painter? Tour the Kimball Art Gallery’s main gallery to see the work of local artists – open daily and free of charge.

Treat Yourself

Get to know the local treats of Park City! While friends and family hit the slopes, cozy up with a good book and a cup of coffee, tea, or hot cocoa at one of Old Town Park City’s local cafes. Enjoy “Park City’s unofficial living room” at Atticus Coffee, Books & Teahouse or freshly made sipping chocolate or espresso at Ritual Chocolate.
